It is a long time since Dr. Oscar Troplowitz – the successor to the Company’s founder, Paul C. Beiersdorf – acknowledged how attractive a company is to qualified employees if it acts responsibly. In 1912, he became the first businessman in Hamburg to introduce the 48-hour week, paid vacation and breastfeeding rooms, the predecessors to the Company kindergarten we have today.
Since then, we have continued this tradition of Corporate Responsibility – at a high level worldwide.
