Interview with Dr. Kai Hockerts, Copenhagen Business School
The prerequisite for sustainability is economic success
If we are to be able to act responsibly, we must also be successful in economic terms. This enables us not only to meet our obligations to our investors, but also to finance other projects for sustainable development: for example, by training young people, supporting charitable projects, or investing in environmentally responsible technology.
We therefore consider economics to be just as important to sustainability as is the environment or our commitment to our employees and society.
